What do drone services cost?
At S.L.A.P. I offer professional drone services tailored to meet the unique needs of each project. Pricing varies depending on the scope, location, and complexity of the work, but to keep things straightforward and fair, I charge based on each property or job site.
Per Property Rate:
To provide consistency and protect both you and myself from unexpected costs, I charge a flat rate per property. This helps cover the basic time, equipment, and effort needed regardless of additional minor add-ons or adjustments during the shoot.
Additional Services:
Depending on your needs, you may request extra features such as thermal imaging, detailed inspections, or advanced post-processing. Please note that thermal imaging is a separate service and is not included with post-processing. Each additional service will be priced separately, with clear communication upfront.
File Delivery and Storage:
You may provide your own Dropbox or preferred file-sharing account at no extra cost. If you prefer to use our Dropbox account for file delivery, please note that this will incur an additional fee to cover storage and management.
Custom Projects:
For larger or more complex projects involving multiple sites, extensive editing, or specialized work, I provide custom quotes based on detailed requirements.
Beyond aerial photography and thermal imaging, I also provide drone services for events, special occasions, and small business promotions. Whether you’re hosting a community gathering, celebrating a milestone, or showcasing your property, I capture smooth, high-quality aerial footage that highlights the energy and atmosphere of your event. My goal is to deliver visuals that feel cinematic and polished while staying authentic to the moment.
I also create location reels and aerial content for small businesses that want to elevate their social media presence. You get professionally captured footage ready for your own marketing or posting — I handle the drone work, and you maintain full control over how the content is used on your platforms. This allows you to build your brand with high-quality visuals while I focus on what I do best: safely and skillfully flying the drone to get the perfect shot.
Basic aerial photography and videography: $300 per property
Video editing and color grading: $75 (per project)
File delivery via our Dropbox account (optional): $10 fee (if you have your own Dropbox, there is no charge for file transfer.)
Rush or weekend service (fees apply)
Thermal imaging: $350 per property for residential / $500 + for commercial depending on size.
Thermal drone inspections typically cost in the range of $350 - $1200 depending on the scale and complexity of the job. For very large or industrial sites rates will be adjusted accordingly.
Size of the property or installation
How many “targets” or points of interest need to be scanned
Flight time / how many battery swaps
Complexity of analysis / whether a detailed report is required
Travel time / site accessibility
Some clients require only straightforward aerial shots, while others request numerous add-ons or extended time on site. Charging per property allows me to balance labor and equipment costs fairly without unexpected overages. It also simplifies budgeting for you and keeps the process transparent.
Will you fly at weddings & funerals?
Short answer; Of course I will.
Rates depend on the location and how long & start at $150 + $200 per hour. (Editing / post processing fees apply if services are needed) This would include color correction, video montage, and music added.
A lot of people like to make a wedding video of the special day, and that is where I step in. I CAN take "still" photos in the process if the event calls for shots from a height.
Note: I assist the wedding photographer; I don't act as primary photographer. Drone operation is also applicable to good weather. High wind or precipitation would force a no-fly event. Air space sometimes regulates how high I am allowed to fly, but we typically check all of that during scheduling.
